Any mommas planning on staying home once baby is born?

How did you announce this to your boss? My boss is the best, so I don’t expect a bad reaction, but I’m still very nervous. I’m pretty sure she’s already guessed too, but I still want to go about this as respectfully as possible. 
Any ideas or suggestions?

Just say that after the baby comes it’s in the best interest of your family to become a stay at home mom and that you loved the opportunity to work at the company

If you plan on using leave, check your company policy. You may have to work a short period after your leave to be able to use it. Otherwise, you’ll miss out on those benefits. At my job you must return after using vacation or sick leave or they charge you for that time.

I am 19’weeks today and have not told my boss yet!I am planning to do so in the next month and I won’t be returning to work . I am still thinking of the most polite professional way to go about this
