UPDATE my boyfriend told me his ex was prettier than me :(

He did not say this while angry... you could tell he really felt this way. I have really low self esteem and now I’m feeling super sad. I just had to tell someone, I’m sorry. I don’t have any friends or parents.

Update:

I asked him how he would feel if I told him my ex was cuter than him and he said it wouldn’t bother him at all- in other words I’m being too sensitive. Idk :( he’s sleeping on the couch
