How long do you have to be taking the birth control pill to have sex

Usually within the first 3 months - I got this advice from my doctor when I first started the pill... Just to get your body used to the hormones and that’s enough time to go back to the doctor and make sure it’s working for you (:

It is also recommended to still wear protection for the first two weeks just in case👌🏼
