Imaginary friend orrrrr....?

Alright so my kid is creeping me out and my husband keeps telling me it's just her imaginary friend but I don't know what to do because it's seriously so creepy. She just turned 3 and she likes to sit in our living room and stare up at the corner of the ceiling (nothing is in that corner of the living room at all). Whenever we asked what she's doing or what she's looking at she never answered until yesterday. Usually she just stares but yesterday she started talking to the ceiling in another language like a weird language that I've never heard before (husband says its probably just a made up language but I dont know what to think) my mom was over and she asked who she was talking to, she responds "People from my past life. You wouldn't understand." (uhh what??) so my mom goes "oh how many people?" And she says "two boys and a girl" my mom says "Do they hurt you?" And my daughter goes "Nope. They just watch." so now me and my mom are officially freaked out and my husband is so nonchalant about it that I can't tell if we're over reacting or?? What do I do? We all tried asking her more questions but she just ignores them. Anyone else's kid ever do anything like this? Sorry I'm posting anon I just don't want anyone I know seeing this somehow and thinking we're all crazy

I had an imaginary friend when I was younger that was always with me. I’m in a few psych courses right now and one of my professors said it’s healthy for kids to express themselves at a young age like that. I think she’s alright ☺️

Could be schizophrenia..  Maybe she is too young to be diagnosed though so I'm not sure.. I'd have her evaluated

My 7 yr old nephew has been seeing his great great great grandfather for years. Telling him stories about trains and things that happened during his life. My sister in law asked my grandmother about the stories and they were all true. They also showed my nephew a picture of him and he agreed that was who he was seeing and talking too. If you're religious or not I would suggest having your home and little one prayed over.

Doesn't matter if its true or not, be happy they are not bothering her. My son saw people who bothered him and we had to do this whole cleanse of the house and ourselves.

My niece used to say some creepy shit when she was a few years younger. She had a “friend” that would wake her up at night by screaming in her face and its mouth would get very big. It would play with her but it wasn’t always nice. She drew a picture of it on their wall once and it was strange looking, not that kids have the best drawing abilities anyway. My sister said she didn’t talk about it to her much but I would ask her random questions and she would tell me about it. Super creepy but just ask questions and maybe she’ll share more? Could just be her imagination.

I fell asleep to the Insidious movies last night lol ...
So that age is totally normal for imaginary play. So don't worry about that. But! If it was me, I wouldn't dismiss the paranormal. Like another poster said, as long as they're not hurting her, I wouldn't worry too much. I believe in spirits but they're harmless. I'm not messin with no demons lol

Kids 5 and under usually have the 3rd eye so they can see things that we cant and there has been documentations on youtube where kids remember their past lives. I think 3 is too soon for an imaginary friend.
