So I’ve been keeping this to myself so’s not to worry my friends n family, not even my boyfriend knows and I guess also if I admit it to them then I guess it’s actually real!

I have cervical cancer!

I know it’s pretty bad but I’m currently waiting for a MRI scan appointment so we can find out if it’s grown further or just on the lining of my cervix.

I’ve always had my smear tests but missed one due to being pregnant so I guess I should’ve booked one after but stupidly thought the nurse stitching me up after birth would see if anything doesn’t look right! (I guess nothing really looks right down there after having a baby!)

So hear I am 3yrs later constantly bleeding, on tablets to try n stem the flow n pain meds coz it seriously hurts n scared to think of what the future holds for me, my 3yr old son n family.

Plz lady’s keep with your smears, I know they’re uncomfortable and I guess a bit embarrassing but it’s so much better then what I’m going through right now!!

So I’ve been back and forth with the hospital over the last few weeks and it’s been the worst time of my life!

Turns out my cancer is stage 4 and in my limpnods all the way up to my neck and the doctors aren’t hopeful on getting me in remission.

I’ve been told I’m going to have chemo to try and slow it down and in hopes of fighting it but it can’t be cleared completely so it’s more to make me comfortable and give me a longer life. It’s taken me a few days to come to terms with this news but I’m strong and I’m NOT going to let this beat me, I have a 3yr old to see grow up and he needs me!

Please everyone when it’s time for a check up, make it a number one priority and go, I had no symptoms, no warnings apart from a little spotting and bad back and WHAM! There it is! DO NOT END UP LIKE ME!! Xxx
