Starting to investigate infertility

I'm interested to hear your experiences. I'm at the beginning of this journey, had bloods done last week and my GP has asked me to make an appointment to discuss the results 😕.

This is secondary infertility for us, I had a child 14 years ago and my partner has 2 children aged 6 and 7 years. After 18 months of no joy it was time to take action but I wasn't prepared for the uncertainty I'm feeling now.

I can't deal with the anxiety and so haven't shared the phone call I received from my doctor with my partner because it's just another disappointment that I can't handle right now (selfish, yes but it is what it is).

What ever stage your at I'm interested in other women's experiences so I can better prepare myself for what's to come.
