Allergies and pregnancy??

Question

Anyone else notice their allergies seem to be worse while pregnant? If so did it go away after birth? 
I developed allergies to animals and pollen etc in my twenties however it’s always been tolerable. I have 3 cats of my own and they’ve never bothered me (I think just being used to them) but lately my nose and eyes have been so irritated all the time 😩 Benadryl does nothing for me

Yes! My allergies are off the hook when I’m pregnant. I take Claritin and Zyrtec and are safe to take during pregnancy. This is my third baby and have safely taken both with every one of my pregnancies.

I have severe allergies zyrtec and a prescription eye drop have kept me sane this spring! Be careful with benedryl it can affect your milk supply, my allergist recommened avoiding it!

Yes! I have horrific increase in allergies until I finish breast feeding. Once I dry up, everything settles back down again.

My allergist said 30% of pregnant ladies allergies get worse, 30% stay the same or 30% get better while pregnant. I have horrid allergies and had 2 sinus surgeries, but when I was pregnant I had no allergies they came back after I had my son. I would take Claritin or Zyrtec.

I didn’t have allergies but my sinuses were definitely off during my first and second trimester.. seems to have gone away as soon as I hit my third
