I feel like an idiot! Is her nose okay?

My husband and I thought it would be fun to take the fondue pot out tonight. We wanted bacon and jalapeño fondue. We started cooking the jalapeños in it and we started coughing from the heat. Instantly the baby projectile spit up. I’m not sure if it’s related but it was at the same time. Anyway we stopped making it and opened windows and put the fan on. I took her outside and she was okay. She wasn’t coughing but a little whiny and outside she was good. Then we put it away went upstairs and she was fine. I hope she didn’t get hurt:( i guess we weren’t thinking:( I feel so terrible
