Ectopic pregnancy and right Fallopian tube removed

Casey

Hi ladies,

I found out two weeks ago that I miscarried, and found out one week ago that the miscarriage that I was experiencing was an ectopic pregnancy. I opted for medicine management and went the methotrexate shot route. Over the last week my levels dropped which is what we wanted. Yesterday I went in for a follow appointment and had another ultrasound and the sac had grown in size. My doctor said due to the damage that was occurring in the tube and it continuing to grow the best course of action was to remove my right Fallopian tube. So yesterday afternoon I was admitted into surgery and they removed my right tube. While they were in there they completed a dye test on left tube to make sure everything looked good on that side and they saw scarring in that tube as well. Which does not sound positive...My question for you all is, has anyone had a similar experience and been able to conceive naturally afterwards. Also, what could have caused scaring on my left tube, since this was first time conceiving and I have never had an STD. Just so many wondering in my head right now.

Thank you! 🙏🏽
