I need help, I’m so in love

I’m in love. I CANT STOP LOVING THIS PERSON, FOR OVER A YEAR AND they tried to talk to me a few times in class by asking a question about me and then complimenting me saying I was the best artist in our grade in front of the whole class. He gives me so many butterflies I think about him all the time. But here is the thing: he is a very loud and outgoing person but I’m not extremely shy in school. I’m afraid to talk to him or I may embarrass myself. I try to make eye contact. I get signs that he likes me but also some signs that don’t seem like it. I’m going to crushed and ik it if he doesn’t like me back becausei love him so much that I can’t even put in words.

What should I do?
