Just recently found out its not covered by my insurance 😔

We took out a personal loan. :/
It’s a shame that insurance companies aren’t willing to cover it and yet they’ll cover elective plastic surgery. The health system is f@$&ed.

We were in the same situation. We took out a personal loan for most of ours and then dipped into our savings for the rest. We will be paying on this loan for 7 years. It's hard to know that we may be paying for so long and possibly not even have a baby in the end. We ended up with only two fertilized eggs and are currently in our two week wait. It's frustrating that insurance companies don't understand that to some people a baby is not just a want. A baby can be something that a person needs to fulfill their life.

We are both teachers so our insurance doesn’t cover anything, it’s awful. We cash flowed what we could and took a loan out for the rest. I’m very new in the process, I just started my shots yesterday 😬

Combo of HSA savings, savings, parental gift, and now a credit card w/ 15 month financing. It sucks and the system is broken.

First cycle everything was covered by the government except for meds. So we only had to pay around 5000 or 6000. (In canada). Second round was not covered  and we paid out of pocket for it all.

We saved for 2 years and my first round failed.   Now we are doing a second cycle in debt.     They offer a lot of loans that provide super low interest.
