So My husband and I recently started TTC. Hunting season has arrived and as usual we’re spending a lot of nights at the camp with a lot of other long time friends on the lease. The normal evening activities include drinks and socializing on the porch as there’s not tv or computers. Very little cell service. A great escape from the digital world. I didn’t think anyone would notice I cut back to almost no alcohol intake. And I’m not planning on any at all after tonight since my OPK just came back positive (yay!) my problem is everyone seems to be trying to give me drinks or asking why I’m not drinking. They’re not a totally ignorant bunch. Babies usually follow vows. I’ve been nursing a beer bottle filled with sweet tea for an hour now but I’m getting weird looks cuz I don’t normally drink beer. Any one have any experience on throwing people off the scent when TTC? We just don’t want to share this journey just yet.
