Ladies with short cervix!

I’m 26 weeks with twins & I just switched practices due not getting the care I need.

I had my first appointment yesterday with the new office & saw one of the nurse practitioners.

The appointment was mostly informative on what I should expect in the near future, & she asked if she could check my cervix (she normally doesn’t do that often but for some reason she thought about it)

Well luckily she did, because she said I have a shortened cervix and now I have an ultrasound the very next day (today) to get checked out further.

Any moms out there with this, can you tell me a bit more about this and what’s been going on in your pregnancy with it?
