What is your opinion on buying second hand toys and clothes ?

So I’m expecting my first baby , and I am buying both brand new and second hand . What’s your opinions ?

I love charity shops and preloved sales! I’ve found some amazing things some still new with tags and spend at most £2 an item with most being 50p! I’ve saved hundreds on going down the second hand route which leaves money in the budget for other things!

My son is 13 in March & I'm due my girl in 4 weeks! Everything she has is second hand except her pram, cot & moses basket! They grow so fast, hardly use the majority of the clothes or bouncers etc so I learnt from my first 😂 why spend  £1000s on brand new when second hand is basically new because none of it is hardly used. Second hand all the way here 😊

I got given loads of clothes from my 2 cousins for my daughter, those clothes then went on to my neice and back again to my second daughter so have clothed  5 children and still look good as new! I don't see an issue with it, it saves you money so why wouldn't you do it 🤷

I’m a first time mum and have been so grateful for all the second hand things we have received. It has saved us a lot of money!
Also I feel less guilty that my baby has only worn something once before growing out of it because I didn’t buy it or paid very little 😂 
There’s a shop near me that only sell second hand baby clothes/toys and I love it, would you pay £££’s for a piece of clothing you’ll only wear a couple of times?! You’re the only one that will know, as long as it’s clean and in good condition that’s all that matters!

NCT sometimes have nearly new sales. I’ve bought toys and clothes for a fraction of the price and they particularly new

I bought a lot new because I didn’t know where to look at first but mainly sale clothes. Now I buy a lot more second hand and I wish I did more at the beginning
