MIL makes annoying, rude comments

So my husband and I conceived twins my Sophomore year of college (I was 21) and his Junior year (about to turn 22). When we told our parents we were expecting, my parents were thrilled but a bit nervous as we were still in college and the pregnancy was unexpected. So they knew it’d be financially challenging and an overall huge adjustment. My in laws, on the other hand, were flat out worried. As if we were totally going to screw everything up and be doomed forever. So we got our families together for dinner to talk about a game plan, which was great because at that point we knew we had everyone’s support. At the dinner, my MIL says “yeah you both have been doing so well! But then that happens to people. They’re doing well and then they go and get themselves pregnant!” And then looked at me and said my name. I was like holy f*ck! And didn’t know what to say so I ignored it. Everyone else was shocked too and didn’t say anything. Like hey lady hate to break it to ya, but your son was definitely there and played a huge part in knocking this pregnant ass up. With twins. BAM. He finished his 5-year program a semester early with honors, and I finished my 4-year double major programs 1 semester late with honors while being a full time mom. Fast forward 4 years, we have a happy marriage, we graduated college on time, our own house, and are financially independent. It’s tight, but we are doing it on our own (and TTC for our third 😜). So we are over her house for dinner last night, and she is telling us about how she had my husbands hormones tested when he was a teenager, he came back with high testosterone, and the doctor said “keep this one away from teenage girls!” And my MIL motions to me and goes “it didn’t work! Lol!” And I was like “wellll we were in our twenties, weren’t teenagers.” So annoying! Like step back and control yourself. Even if we were teenagers, rude thing to say.
