Boy momma here but if I ever have a girl I’m going to wait until she is old enough to ask and use it as a teaching moment for responsibility and caring for her body. No judgment on the moms that get them done as babies just stating what I would do.

Had them done at 5 months and I do not regret it! She cried for like a minute and a half and has never noticed them since, didn’t pick at them, nothing.

We did it after 2 month shots. They heal faster, the babies don’t touch them, and the parent keeps it clean. They are not traumatized and they cry for a minute then done. 
I did it for both of my girls and now I get a lot of parents who gave their daughters the choice who said they wish they would have gotten it done as babies because some of them chickened out or where very dramatic or didn’t clean them well enough.

Dr said to wait until after 6 month vaccines. We have an apt this weekend ( she’s now 7 months)

We had them done at 4 months and she cried just until I picked her up.  They have never bothered her since getting them.
