I thought I was in love with my husband while we were dating I can honestly say I wasn't. I have fallen in love with him this past year of are 1st year of marriage we have gone through so much fights, arguments, raising a 2 year old, having our first baby together. We have learned to respect each other. We have learned to just step in when needed without even having to say anything. We have grown so much closer. I am beyond greatful for my husband. It has not been easy but I wouldn't change anything but I believe now you can't truly love someone until you go through life with them. So my question is when did you realize you truly fell in love with your s/o

It’s been a pretty tough year for me. Laparoscopy surgery, months of severe pain from Mirena, major hormonal issues from Mirena and other birth control, anxiety, depression, super stressful work, breast cancer scare, anaemia, heart palpitations, weight gain, family illness and injury, the list goes on and on. I have felt so much love and support from my partner through it all. I think especially after my breast cancer scare and laparoscopy. 
I have just fallen so much more in love with my partner, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t love him two years ago when we got together. I have just gotten to a much deeper and more permanent level of love for him. 
I’m constantly surprised by how much more I fall in love with my partner every day. I think that’s the way it should be though. 
As we age together and walk beside each other for the rest of our lives, our hearts each depend more on each other and our partners fill a void in our lives that they themselves have created, and that no other can fill. 
It’s so great that you feel more and more in love with your partner, but don’t disregard those initial feelings of love. They were creating the building blocks for the live you share with your partner today. 😊😘🌷

I realized almost 3 years ago when my mom passed. We were married 2 years before that and I HATED him, literally. We fought horribly and would say very hateful things to each other. When she passed, he was the ONLY one that held me when I cried (besides my grandpa) and helped me thru my PTSD afterwards. Yes we still have out fights,  but I laugh it off. He's my best friend 💕

We met when we were both 17 and I gotta say I have truly fallen in love with my fiancè on many occasions that I couldn't pick one time. Each time he has become more I have truly fallen in love with him in a new way. When we were friends I truly fell in love with him as a person. A few months into being my boyfriend I truly fell in love with him as a lover and companion. The first time he saw our daughter with tears in his eyes I truly fell in love with him as a father. Now he is my fiancè I truly fell in love with him as my future. I can't wait to marry the pain in the ass so I can fall in love all over again with the person I want to grow old with. 
I'm don't believe there is one moment of realisation, but more a love that expands with each stage of life.

I fell in love with him a couple weeks after dating. It was super quick but my love for him grows with everything we’ve been through and how amazing he is. My mom didn’t want us to be together so we had a rough start. We struggled so bad but we made it. We have been married almost 9 years. When we had our son a little over a year ago, I fell more in love because of how amazing of a dad he is. He is that helpful and supportive husband and father that no one ever writes about on here. I’m blessed! Our lives aren’t perfect but I couldn’t ask for a better husband if I tried!

People are continually growing and changing, so in a relationship I believe you fall in love with someone time and time again. I fell in love with my husband early on, when we were young and liked to go out and party. There were many occasions during this stage of life where he took care of me, protected me, etc. I stopped wanting that lifestyle before he did, and I fell in love with the new version of him when he decided he too wanted to grow and become more of a family man. I found out there would be less than a 10% chance of conceiving naturally due to PCOS and endometriosis and he was my saving grace during those struggles. I most recently fell in love with him as a father figure. Although I’m still pregnant I already know he’s doing to be such a great dad, and hearing him talk about our daughter and the future just makes me love him more than I ever have before. I know I’ll get that feeling even stronger when I see him look at her for the first time 💕💕
