For those of you claiming that the flu shot isn’t studied on pregnant women... or those of you wanting “facts”...

....it is OK to be skeptical of things when you are pregnant. It is OK to err on the safe side and avoid undue risk- but if you are drinking caffeine, eating McDonalds, oreos or any other processed foods, exposing yourself to nail polish vapors, taking herbal supplements, using any cleaning products.... (THIS LIST GOES ON FOREVER)... these items have not been empirically tested and you are taking risks.

If the risk comes with JUSTIFIABLE reward (20-60% chance of avoiding influenza or associated symptoms) you have done your due diligence as a Mom and can reassure your child that you were an informed and educated parent during pregnancy.

for those of you claiming to have some study that gives indication of correlation of negative outcomes with vaccine & pregnancy: bring it. 12 years of research deep and I can find nothing.
