3 days late...

Hi guys! I am on day 3 of being late and had one time I spotted and nothing since... this is my first rodeo with this. When should I be taking a pregnancy test? I took one and it was negative, thinking maybe it is still so soon. My nerves are getting the best of me and I'm hoping for a good outcome.
