When should I start getting ready?

I’m 29 weeks today and a FTM, was wondering when I need to get everything packed and ready for the hospital just in case?

I’m almost 32 weeks. I haven’t started packing yet but my shower is this weekend. Once I have my shower, I will have a better idea of what I want and what I need to get still. I like to have mine done by 36 weeks.

With my first I was having contractions all day Tuesday off and on, woke up Wednesday and they were stronger and more frequent so I decided to stay home and I packed my bag then and labored at home all day ended up having him at 1:27am that night

My son came unexpectedly early. So this time, I am packing my things now—29 weeks. Baby’s bag will be pretty minimal as I overdid it the first time.

With my first I slowly started around 30 weeks, last minute stuff you can throw in last min, but it made me feel more comfortable having stuff started.

Moms bag is more important than baby... pack that now ... trust me... baby literally needs hardly anything.

STM here...I’m 29weeks and will probably get my stuff packed by 35-36weeks. My first came at 37weeks and I didn’t have anything packed!

I’m 30 weeks & I want to have everything ready at least by 35 weeks. I have my baby shower this coming Saturday so I’m kind of waiting until after that to start on most things.

I’m 30 weeks and I’m about to start packing hospital bags in the next two weeks just to calm me. We live an hour and a half away from the hospital so it’s not like we can just run home if we forget something
