Pregnant/ need advice ?

Omg never thought I’d get a positive pregnancy test! Im going to be 41 February 1st been trying for 8 months! Today my doctor called and said I’m pregnant 😊😊 so happy! I’m 14 days past ovulation! My question is my hcg is 74.20 is this a good number? Seems low to me what do you all think ? Also my thyroid is slightly high 3.06! They gave me a medication but heard it makes your hair fall out anyone have similar situations

Congratulations! About the thyroid medicine... take it! I have slightly underactive thyroid and my doctor put me on something because the baby needs it; I'm TTC and under active has a higher chance of having trouble conceiving. Over active however, baby still needs a normal thyroid level. Who cares about hair as long as baby is healthy, right?

First off, congratulations!!!!! How exciting 😍 
I think your numbers are just fine. It’s not so much the initial number as it is the doubling time. 
Please take your thyroid medication. It can be very bad for baby if you have a thyroid problem. That number seems normal to me. I had my numbers done in August and they were 5.8- doctor just wanted to restest. We retested last month and my level was 3.1. Normal.. how is it that one place says high and another place says normal? So weird.
