I can’t believe I’m a mom! **UPDATED**
FTM - due 10/10/18 - No complications during pregnancy and baby was showing about 6lb 7oz at 36 wk ultrasound
Admitted for my induction on 10/9/18 at 7p @ only .5cm dilated, by 9:30p I was set up with foley bulb and pitocin, which got me to 3cm, and had my water broke around 3am since there had been no more progression.
3pm, only 5cm and they were not pleased with babies heart rate dipping during contractions, so they started talking about csection. Thankfully they decided to add fluid back inside me to take stress off baby, and it seemed to help with baby’s heart dipping, and I started to dilate faster.
By 5pm, I started to feel the need to poop (which in my reading meant time to push) they checked and I was 9cm so they started to prepare for birth. By 5:30p I was pushing (which I was not prepared for how hard that would be) and at 6:54p a baby girl was born!
