Tomorrow is my first US at 10w5d and i am very nervous. Have not heard a heart beat so I am very anxious, Dr.tried hearing hearbeat at 9w but nothing..anyone else? Was baby good....??First baby so I am super excited but worried as welll.

My midwife couldn’t find the heartbeat with the doppler on Monday at 11+1, so I got an ultrasound yesterday. Heartbeat was in the 170s. There are other issues that I’m currently freaking out about but the fact that the heartbeat wasn’t picked up on the doppler has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Good luck. 9w sounds old enough for a heartbeat detection on us. Are you referring to ultrasound or Doppler? They could detect heart beat in my 6w scan

I'm 10 weeks 5 days and went to the dr today. They had a hard time finding the heartbeat. Baby was just hiding . He did an ultrasound sound and baby was moving and heart was flickering. At almost 9 weeks my dr wouldnt even attempt the doppler because he said it's too difficult to find the heartbeat at that stage. I pray everything is ok. Stay positive! You got this!!
