Water/Food?

I took I went to my 2 year old check up and while I was there I asked the pediatric (new) if it was when would be ok to give water to at the time almost 4 month old, she said not until 6 months...

So this past Monday, I took my now 4 month old to his appointment for shots and check up and there usual pediatrician tells me it's ok for me to start introducing him to baby food start with veggies also at least 2 oz of water here and there.

My son is from June 28, currently is 25" long and weight 16.2 oz

I'm just curious what did your pediatrician say to you in regards to water and baby food 😕
