So after my post yesterday, I decided to hand my notice in and go for new NHS job. I now have to work 3 month's notice and will start new job at around 16-17 weeks pregnant. To make the situation even more awkward, my new boss has just emailed me saying that someone is going to be going on maternity leave soon after I start and would I like to do some additional hours as it would help them out tremendously 😳

My husband keeps reminding me that NHS maternity policy is there for a reason and I don't have to feel guilty but can't help feeling bad 😔
