I don't know about cps laws in your state, in Colorado they will NOT take a child soley for marijuana. There has to be another factor or proof of neglect. When it comes to testing - no matter when you stop it will be in the umbilical cord. Lets say you smoked once when you were 11 weeks: it will still be present in the cord and placenta at birth even if it's not coming up in your system. No worries hun, they usually don't take any action with marijuana.
When did you stop smoking and did your baby test positive ?
I’m 24 weeks, quit smoking at 19 but I’ve smoked twice since then - tested clean within 48 hours in my own urine cause it was so little but curious about if my baby will test positive for weed? Also I’m in Toledo Ohio, anyone deal with CPS over marijuana here? Just wanting to know peoples different experiences
