Not that it's a big deal because over all the money from the tax return will go towards things our son will need.

My SO works 12 hour days, 5 days a week. He pays for the apartment and electric and his own personal bills from his checks such as car payment, insurance, cell phone ect.

I work part time and am home mostly with our son. I take care of him physically on my own about 80 percent of the time. My checks go to cable and internet, I supply the groceries for the house and then pay my own bills such as car payment, insurance, cell phone.

We go back and forth purchasing formula and diapers and clothes as needed. Its truly pretty even the amount we each spend on our son.

Who should be the one to claim our son?
