Manicure! Yes or no?

Hi ladies I am 8 weeks 5 days now and really want a manicure.
But apprehensive about it as i heard you shouldnt really have one.
Any advise??

I get my nails done every 3-4 weeks! I’ve never heard that it’s an issue when you’re pregnant?

Esthetician here! You can absolutely get a manicure so long as you go to a reputable place with sanitary tools!

Manicures are fine :) some people say the  smell makes them nauseous, and when you're closer to third trimester some people also can start getting contractions from the foot massages. But everyone is different :)

My husband and I go together and get pedicures every month. It is so relaxing and we always have a lot of fun. We have done it for years through my other pregnancies and it has always been fine.

I would suggest not letting them cut your cuticles, since your cuticles are a major defense for your immune system and if they cut them, you're more susceptible to catching something. Stay healthy and glamorous girl!
