Epidural???

Ugh in labor early and freaking out about an epidural or not.  I just got so sad thinking about not feeling his kicks anymore.... but then im thinking duh it will be better when he is here.  Preggo emotions on high!

It's of course your choice but there is an empowering high you get from natural birth and there are benefits like a quicker labor and baby scoring higher on the apgar.

Never had one, and never would. I do alternate methods of pain relief, and am excited to try the tub and jetted showers/hydrotherapy this baby. 
Biggest downsides to the epidural that I can list (for myself anyway) are the need to get a catheter inserted, needle in your spine, not always 100% effective, and can cause baby to be extremely drowsy immediately following birth and make it difficult to initiate breastfeeding. 
My labors have both been rather quick, though. Usually 6 hours from admission to delivery. My last one was 10.3lbs and I still didn’t think I needed one.

I got it will my first and would have done it again. My November baby ended up having to come by Csection on 10-18-18 so I had no choice since he was in distress. I cried the next two weeks because my stomach numb was gone and he was not in there. It happened so fast and not on my time. Hormones are finally getting better lol.

I waited to see how fast I was progressing it was going good 2 cm every hour until I got to six and stayed there for 3 hours I'm like I can't I had bad back labor and I requested it asap afterwards I took a nap and woke up and i was 8-9 I also was laboring from 2 am baby was born 12pm I dint completely put it off my plan I did gas and fentanyl for a bit but it got exhausting since I had not slept at all baby was out in 2 contractions!

I did it and don't regret it. I had to turn it off to push because I couldn't push hard enough. I felt the pressure but no pain.

Epidural???
