I have a doctors appt on Tuesday morning but would love to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience to get me through the weekend!

I went off BC mid July for the first time in about 18 years as we planned TTC from November. AF hadn’t arrived by end of October so I saw my GP last Tuesday and she’s done some blood tests (will get the results on Tuesday, but apparently there was nothing requiring an urgent appointment).

Wednesday night last week I noticed some dark brown spotting. This has continued until today (so over a week). I thought AF had arrived but it hasn’t gotten heavier or turned red. Did an AHPT on Sunday just to be sure and it was negative.

Do you think this is just a very light first AF? Could it be implantation spotting? Could it be something else?

I’ve not had a real period in such a long time I have no idea what’s normal so any insights are welcome!
