A sick Ex

I have an ex husband who is sick I have been with my guy for 2years me and my ex do not speak in any form. He hasn’t been spending time with my oldest like he normally does and he really doesn’t fool with our younger son. Now he is having heart issues and it’s very scary for him. I wish no bad on him at all and for reason I still care what happens to him. How do I deal?
