About 6 months ago I noticed this small rash (about the size of a quarter) on my labia majora. It’s sort of located in the crease of that and my leg if that makes sense. Anyways, it hasn’t gone away and continues to be itchy. I’ve looked up so many things and pictures and I believe it to be a fungal infection.

I’ve been putting anti fungal cream on it and it’s been getting better. The more I research though the more I’m confused between a fungal infection and a yeast infection. My discharge has been normal and my actual vagina itself is not itchy at all. I know that yeast infection medication is easily available but I don’t want to use something I don’t need. Has anyone had a rash like this?

Also, I am sexually active but my partner and I have only been with each other. I actually got a Pap smear and tested for chlamydia the same month this all started and I was all good. I just need some advice on what to do.
