Scheduled c-sections?

How are those of you who need to have a c-section going about scheduling them? Do you pick the date or does the doctor? Is yours scheduled during your 39th week? Do they let you go past the due date?

I am having a scheduled c. My doctor and I picked the date together. I'll be 39w 2 days assuming we make it to that date. Baby has been causing complications so we are doing an ultra sound in 2 weeks to check things. I scheduled my c at my 28w apt.

My dr chose our date. January 10th is when its scheduled for. due date is Jan 19th

My c-section is scheduled for when I’ll be 40+6 - due 1/22, scheduled for 1/28. I told my doctor I’d like to have a chance to go on my own and have a vbac, but if I don’t then I’ll have a repeat c-section. I don’t want to be induced again. 😩

My dr let me pick mine but I couldn't go any earlier than 39 weeks... so I had mine scheduled for Jan 4, due date is Jan 10.

My doctors office only does scheduler c-sections during the 39th week and lets you choose the date you’d like. I had to go to the surgery desk to schedule mine and got the day I wanted. Not sure how other doctor offices work though.

I will be having my second planned c-section. My doctor will allow any date after 39 weeks. I selected the first available day.

I’m going to find out the available dates/times and go from there. My doctor said she does them right at 39 weeks. But if he’s measuring bigger or not progressing, we may meet him sooner.

Mine is going to be around 38 weeks. Im guessing due to preeclampsia during my last pregnancy. She said i could schedule it at my 34 week appointment.

Doctor picks the week and you can ask for the day if it is available they will surely let you have it
