What happens if I don't burp my baby?

My daughter is 12 weeks old and has reflux. She spits up like its her job, its almost not even enjoyable to go places or do things with her because the hour after she eats is awful and she ruins so many clothes.

Ive noticed that sometimes if i dont burp her right after feeding shell not spit up. She doesnt ever have gas pains anymore since I've been putting gas drops in all her bottles. Shes not a fussy baby and burps easily all the time on her own. Could i not burp her right after bottles? Like maybe half an hour after or something? Would it be okay for her? Do you think the burping right after feeding contributes to the spit up or was it just a coincidence i hadnt burped her that time?
