Animals sense pregnancy?

Question

So I had unprotected sex many times in the last month, pregnancy never crossed my mind until I realized today that my cat is really clingy. Normally she doesn’t wanna be around or touched but lately she lays under me when I lay on the couch. If I’m sitting there she comes up and cuddles next to me and sleeps. Someone made a point to me about cats being able to sense it. Has anyone ever experienced this?

My cat turned into a total DICK when I was pregnant! Getting on things he's not allowed on (and he knows it), he was clawing at things he never claws at, and was avoiding me! He's usually such a Mama's boy, but wanted NOTHING to do with me. Made me sad to lose my cuddle bug. Unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy. And I've always wondered if maybe he just knew something was wrong and this lashed out. Either way, I'm waiting for a rainbow and have my fingers crossed my cuddly kitty stays cuddly.

Both times I got pregnant my cat became even more affectionate with me than normal. I don’t remember how early, but my entire pregnancy with my first he would climb in my belly and purr as soon as I’d sit down.

Yes. My cat and my parents’ dog are always very clingy when I’m pregnant. Maybe the cat is just cold though! Take a test to be sure.
