Implant & pill birth control

I have had the implant for a year and I went to the doctor because I have been bleeding nonstop. I waited a year for my body to regulate it but nothing. So I decided to take the pill as she described to. She described that I should take it everyday until I stop bleeding then wait three days and switch from every day to every other day and then the following week switch to every other two days to come off the pill (excluding the last week of the month; the brown pills). I’m currently on every other day and I started to very faintly spot and I also started cramping a little which is kinda weird for me. Does anyone know the reason or what could be a cause if this ?
