I started taking the minipill on October 28th, the first day of my period.

Yes, my period tends to be abnormally long, but today is day 11 for me, and for the past 2-3 days it’s just been dark, “excess” blood. Normally it does this too, but the amount of blood gradually decreases and eventually disappears by day 12. But right now it’s been pretty consistent and honestly seems more like consistent spotting than my period.

Is this normal?? Because I’ve heard there are side effects to the minipill but am not sure if this is one.

Please help, because I’m a bit concerned and want to know if any other minipill users experienced this too.
