Cant poop. Please help! 😭😞

My son just turned 11 months old. He hasn't had a bowel movement in about 5 days. His father and I noticed last night that he was straining really hard trying to poop. So we went out and got him grip water constipation ease. He hadn't wanted to eat all last night which I'm assuming is from his belly hurting because he cant pass his stool.

He woke up this morning at 6 after a restless night of up and down and he was screaming blood murder and tightening his muscles and trying to push. So I stripped him down and held his knees up to his belly to try and help him get it out. I could see his poop start to come out and then go right back in and he was beginning to bleed from pushing so hard.

His pediatricians office only suggested giving him prunes and prune juice. But I told her he wont even take a bottle! I cant pry his mouth open and make him swallow it. She just said well try to get him to take it, it will help.

I'm beyond fed up with his peds office and am on the hunt to switch to some one new. But in the mean time, does anyone have any suggestions to help my little guy out? 😞

I've tried bicycle legs, a warm bath, massaging his belly. He wont take the prunes or any apple juice. Please help!
