Do you think she’s too tall for this?

Shes 15 months, and we have her rear facing. Everyone says she’s too tall and she looks uncomfortable. When she’s stretched out all the way her feet touch the seat. I disagree with everyone saying she’s uncomfortable but I’m just curious to everyone opinions

Nope she is definitely not too tall! Babes need to be rearfacing for at least 2 years minimum. But the longer the better. Make sure her straps are coming from below her shoulders, straps are tightened to  the pinch test and the chest clip is at sternum level. Like a previous comment said the “car seats for the littles” group on Facebook has techs that can check your install or a local CPST (car seat tech) can check it in person :)

I kept my very tall child rear facing until her 4th birthday. She sat cross cross or hung her legs over the side. She never complained about being squished. My mother and aunts used to give me so much grief about how she was uncomfortable 🙄 She’s almost 5 now and mentions all the time how she liked “sitting backwards”.
Please don’t turn your baby too early because others can’t mind their business.

Thank you ladies! I agree with you all. Everyone saying something can kiss it. Ugh. I let my boyfriends cousin pick her up the other day (we really trust her with our daughter) and come to find out she had her forward facing “because she looked uncomfortable and she’s fine” I flipped shit on her.

She doesn’t look anywhere near the max height/weight for that car seat. It’s way safer to have them rear facing.

She doesn’t look too tall for the seat. As long as she’s under the rear facing limits of her seat, she’s fine to remain rear facing (and most likely needs to since she’s under 2).
And feet touching the seat isn’t a safety concern. Once her legs are longer, she could bend them, sit cross cross or even put them up up on the seat.

My son is actually really tall for not even two yet. But it’s law that he has to be rear facing until two. Poor little guy. Has to suck. But we got one of those graco seats with the extender for his feet. Seems to work great. If you’re worried you could try that.

First of all, your baby is freaking adorable! My daughter has an outfit like that but the pockets are cats.
Second, like everyone has said, if she is still under the height and weight limit, don't change anything!
