Has anyone switched OB’s?

Currently 14 weeks and wondering if it’s a good idea to switch OB’s. I’ve been having so many issues with their office, but I’m scared other places will be just as disorganized.

Update! I met with a new OB today and practically fell in love. They’re office was wonderful and despite my other OB not sending my records over the new office made sure they didn’t miss a thing. They also called the other office while I was there to see what needed to be done to get my records ASAP. Very much advocates for their patients. Thanks everyone for the advice! So glad I made the jump.

Find someone who you are comfortable with. Ask around or on Facebook for opinions on places but you’ll hear negative about everywhere even if it’s the perfect place. It’s not wrong if you do want what’s best for yourself and your baby and if that means switching doctors than do it.

I felt the same way and I have been with mine over 10 years and they know me so well. The last few times I’ve been there they have been disorganized and put me in the regular room and asked why I was there... a sonogram. Had to move rooms after an hour wait and more issues. I made the switch by asking a friend of mine and it turns out another friend also is going to the same place. I’m so glad I switched! They are more personable and they are all women which I really like. Do it! Be glad that you see the signs early like I did 😊

I switched earlier on in my pregnancy because I had recently moved. I was hesitant because I thought it was going to be a big deal and it absolutely wasn’t. The hardest part was filling out all the paperwork about my medical history. So I would recommend it if it’s something you are considering.

They won’t be! If you are not comfortable, switch. I’m switching to a midwife group because my OB doesn’t deliver babies and I’m hoping they are as good as my OB’s office but if they are not, I’ll find another place. You have to be comfortable with them and trust them—they are delivering your baby!!👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻
