My son is exactly two weeks old today and was born 9lbs 11 oz. When we left the hospital he was 9lbs 6oz. As of his last pediatrician appointment this Tuesday he was 10lbs 8oz- which she said is very good- lots of growing I guess. I’m just not sure we are giving him enough formula per feeding because he’s been wanting to eat more often lately. We did switch his formula two days ago, from Enfamil NeuroPro to Similac Alimentum due to a milk intolerance. So I’m not sure if the new formula isn’t as heavy or if he’s perhaps going through a growth spurt already? He was doing 3.5 ounces every 3.5- 4 hours, but lately he is only making it about 2.5 hours before he’s waking up sucking his hands and losing it because he’s hungry. I’m not sure how many ounces a 10 and a half pound baby needs per feeding but he seems way more hungry all of a sudden. Any suggestions?
