The gyno isn’t so scary

I had my first gynecology appointment today. I got a Pap smear, Brest exam, and an STI test. I was scared out of my mind going into the doctor but once I was there the doctor was so wonderful to me and the pap didn’t hurt at all. Just strange but I felt very safe. I’ve had a past of sexual harassment and assault so I was really scared to have someone I don’t love down there, but I didn’t have any unsafe feelings. My doctor explained everything she was doing while she was doing it. This helped A LOT. Ask your doctor to do the same!!!

I just wanted to share my experience Incase anyone else was scared too!
