Nipple shield and lanisoh nipple cream plus breast milk will help. If you leave breast milk on first then let it dry then put nipple cream on.

Your milk will help soothe discomfort. Nipple cream as well. Try putting your breast pad in freezer and before or after you breast feed put in your bra. It works I had to do this especially when my breast engorge 😩

Never used coconut oil but I swear by Mother Love nipple cream. If your nipples are in rough  shape then you should apply it generously before and after breastfeeding. Also before and after pumping... EVERY SINGLE TIME!!

Ask your doctor for a prescription of all purpose nipple ointment... if you put too much over the counter ointment on there you can end up with thrush. Also let nipples air dry and put them in the sun or by a light
