Trouble breastfeeding one and not the other?

Did any of you have trouble breastfeeding one baby that completely stopped latching and then have another baby that was much easier or different and successfully breastfed?

My first refused to latch so i exclusively pumped for over 10 months. I've been breastfeeding my second for a little over 4 months now.
