cycle & average period length

I changed my average cycle length and average period length since it has changed after going on birth control. But when I go to my calendar view, it still has my old cycle and period length, which isn’t a huge deal, but I would prefer for it to be what I have it set as.

I’m just confused, maybe I’m doing something wrong or this is just normal?
