Inverted nipples

I’m 30 weeks pregnant , and my ob says I have inverted nipples (go figure) it happened with my first also , but I really wanna breastfeed this time , with my first she couldn’t latch on and the nurses pretty much gave her a bottle and I felt like a failure . but I’m super determined to actually do it in January . I’m just nervous and pretty much scared because I heard it can be painful for the first 2 weeks , and I just don’t wanna feel defeated again . My husband & mother in law are very happy to help me achieve breastfeeding , I just pretty much don’t know what to do when it comes to the inverted nipple situation . anyone else have inverted nipples & still managed to successfully breastfeed ?
