What are you seeing...Obgyn or Midwife??!!

M

By chance I had a midwife deliver my daughter and I believe it was a true blessing. I was induced by my obgyn because I was 2 days “overdue” and it took 3 days for me to be dilated to 10!! Luckily the midwife on call allowed me all that time and I was able to give birth to my baby girl naturally after 10 minutes of pushing.

This time around I decided to see a midwife at a birthing center. Although I want to deliver at the hospital which is an option there, I’m happy to have a midwife who promotes natural births and letting YOU decide when you’re ready as long as baby is healthy.

My family is kinda iffy about my choice but that’s just because it’s not “normal” to them 😒

I loved my birth experience last time just wished that I was allowed to go into labor naturally. Hopefully this time my midwife will allow me to try to jumpstart it at home rather than sit chained to a hospital bed for days.
