Why do I have to be craving salami?!

I want it so bad but I just read an article that scared the crap out of my saying it could make my baby have problems hearing, learning disabilities or even die 😢

I love salami and have eaten it both pregnancies. Chances of listeria are higher from a salad, but no one tells you to stop eating those. It’s safest if you heat it to steaming, the bacteria can’t survive the heat.

I wouldn’t worry... I highly doubt salami will cause birth defects! I ate salami /pepperoni all the time and my baby is fine

I literally just ate a cold sausage link out of the fridge. It was amazing. Lol my doctors office said if I was wanting deli meats to microwave like 15 secs. 
Salami is greasy and salty, so maybe your actually craving one of those two? 
I freaking love salami tho, idk if I could replace my craving lol
