So I’ll start off with this is my third baby. With my previous pregnancy I started dilating around 34 weeks and progressed pretty well. Went into labour at 38 weeks. Flash forward to today I’m 36 weeks 2 days and yes baby is head down and low but I’m not dilated at all. Cervix is still firm, long and completely closed😩My doctor was surprised even because of the amount of pain I’m in and having frequent contractions. I can’t take any more of this pain. I want my baby here but now it’s looking like she won’t be for a while😭I wasn’t expecting this today. I felt as if my body has been starting to progress. I guess my question is, can I have a firm, long, closed cervix but still go into labour early rather than late? Or does this mean I still have weeks to go?
