Has anyone experienced gender disappointment? Just found out I am expecting boy number 3. We wanted a girl so badly

Yes! And for me it hasn’t gone away yet. Having a boy wanted a girl too. It’s hard that it hasn’t gone away as I’m still sad every time I see baby girl pictures .. hoping it’ll pass at some point so I can be more excited

Yes but it is what it is. I just tried hard to let it go. Went shopping got aome cute little boy stuff. Hubby really wanted a girl i did too but he was more dissapointed. He loves his sons but wanted a daughter. We will try again in the future but that will be our last baby. Praying we get a girl then. But God decides.

Not yet but I'm 9 weeks with no 3 and convinced it's going to be another boy! (My 1st 2 were boys) I'm trying to expect a boy so I won't be disappointed but I would LOVE a girl!

I'm having a little bit. This is baby #3, I do have a girl and a boy already and I know that I am lucky. My daughter is 6 and my oldest and she and I both longed for another girl in the family. Just found out that we are having another boy. My daughter and I were disappointed but we had a long talk about how thankful we are to add another baby to our family. And of course, she said- we can try again, Mom! Lol

I'm having boy #2. I've had a rough time this pregnancy and felt so unattached to the baby. I wish I never found out the gender and waited because I feel like I would have enjoyed and been more connected to this baby if I didn't have such high expectations. 
I don't even want to try for a third because I'm so afraid it will be another boy. Totally understand how you feel.

I have a girl and we find out this one gender this week. My husband was sad about #1 and i think we will both be disappointed if #2 is a girl. But it will change and you will get excited.
